Plot Overview
Ellen Herman and her husband, Bill of Maryland are involved in real estate; with both of them working long hours, Ellen hired a housekeeper to keep the house clean and a "house manager" to deal with the domestic issues and care for her 15-year-old daughter, Chloe after school. Chloe is desperate to have more time and attention from her parents and dislikes being shutout by the adults, especially her dad.
Ellen swaps lives with stay-at-home mother Donna Fontaine; Donna believes in spending time at home with her four children: 17-year-old Nicole, 15-year-old Jimmy, 13-year-old Michael & 11-year-old John. The family eats and purchases cheap items that are on sale and the family eats all of their meals on paper plates because Donna doesn't wash any dishes.
