Plot Overview
The boys' latest wish appears to be going good for once when Lisa makes them lifeguards and she becomes enamoured with a nebbish surfer. However, when Gary attempts to woo a girl requires him to be a good swimmer, Lisa winds up turning him onto a merman.

- The title of the episode is a play on 1993 film Free Willy.
- The boys are watching and fantasising about being lifeguards on Baywatch (in which Vanessa Angel made three guest appearances). The lifeguard that confronts them in the episode, according to the credits, is named Hazzelhoof, an obvious play on the name of the show's star David Hasselhoff.
