Trivia
The Show
- The episode opens only with the title (with a 60s score in lieu of main theme) before segueing into the first act.
Behind the Scenes
- The motel seen in the episode was originally built in 1988 on the back lot of Universal Studios Florida and was used in Psycho IV: The Beginning and can later be seen in the Sliders episode "Revelations".
Allusions and References
- The bikers whose motorcycles Wyatt and Gary steal are modelling on the characters from the 1968 film Easy Rider. This is reinforced by the playing of Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild" when the boys try to ride off with them.
- The character of Billy is obviously meant to be a young Bill Clinton from his voice to some of his quotes.
Memorable Moments
Goofs
- The calendar at the very beginning says it's July 19, 1969. However, the moon landing depicted moments later was actually on July 20th.
