WMGT-TV is the callsign for the NBC affiliate in Macon, Georgia. It broadcasts on digital channel 40 while being displayed on tuners as virtual 41.
The station signed on in 1968 as WCWB and has been an NBC affiliate from the start. Prior to the station signing on, NBC had been mainly available from Atlanta's WSB/channel 2. The station changed its call to WMGT in 1983 (a radio station in Minnesota also bears the call WMGT).
