WIYE-LD is the CBS affiliate for Parkersburg, West Virginia. It broadcasts on digital channel 47. They share studios and transmitter sites with NBC affiliate WTAP and Fox affiliate WOVA-LD. Its subcarrier is the market's My Network TV affiliate.
The station was originally a translator and signed on in 2002 as W64CS on channel 64 analog. In 2007 it changed calls to WWVX-LP. It went silent in June 2012 after Gray Television bought it and sized it up to be the market's CBS affiliate (the Parkersburg market previous had none) and changed calls to WIYE-LP.
CBS had been furnished to Parkersburg from Charleston affiliate WOWK on cable. WOWK will be replaced on cable by WIYE-LD upon sign-on. The station has applied for a permit to construct a digital facility, operating with 15,000 watts.
