WILM-LD is an independent station the Wilmington, N.C. market, broadcasting on digital channel 40 and displayed vis PSIP as 10. It first went on the air in 1989 as analog 10 under the call W10BZ. It became UPN affiliate WSSN-LP in 1995, and then became CBS affiliate WILM-LD in 2000. It served as a semi-satellite of WRAL/channel 5 in Raleigh, N.C. until that station switched to NBC in 2016.
On January 1, 2017, CBS moved from WILM-LD to the subcarrier of ABC affiliate WWAY/channel 3.
