Plot Overview

Weevil plays a poker game with the high rollers at Logan's place, but when he wins big the money has gone missing. He and his gang steal the property of the players as revenge - including Duncan's laptop. The laptop has his diary on it, including many juicy details of his relationship with Veronica, which is motivation for her to solve the mystery.

Meanwhile, Keith has been hired by Lynn Echolls. Her husband, Aaron, has received some new and disturbing threats which accuse him of infidelity, and the Echolls don't want anything to ruin their big Christmas party.

Notes

Mystery of the Week

Veronica is on the case to discover who stole the money at the poker game, and it turns out it was the richest of the five, because he's not so rich after all: his father is a butler, and he fakes living the high life. Keith meanwhile tracks down the sender of Aaron's latest stalker mail, and it's not the woman he was caught with, but the maid who caught him - who claims he also slept with her.
