Valley of the Dinosaurs is an animated adventure that aired on CBS.
John Butler takes his family--wife Kim, daughter Katie and son Greg on a rafting trip in the Amazon where they are caught up in a whirlpool. When they emerge, they find themselves back in time in a prehistoric setting. They are taken in by a caveman, Gorak, and his family where they see how prehistoric man lived and co-existed with creatures like dinosaurs.
Valley of the Dinosaurs was the first series made at Hanna-Barbera's Australian outlet in Sydney.
