Traveler (2007) is a dramatic thriller broadcast on ABC and produced by Warner Bros. Television.
The series follows Jay Burchell and Tyler Fog, two friends and Yale University graduate students on the run from the FBI. The two have become linked in an elaborate conspiracy that culminated in an explosion at Drexler Museum—a museum where they had played a harmless prank moments prior to the bomb. As they flee from the government, the two uncover clues to the conspiracy and attempt to figure out what exactly became of their friend Will Traveler.
Although the series premiered to decent ratings, it quickly hemorrhaged viewers and was cancelled after eight first-run episodes. Fans attempted to mount a grass-roots campaign to save the show, just as Jericho fans did earlier that year, but ultimately failed. Series creator David DiGilio eventually posted a TV Guide blog answering all of the major mysteries of the series to give those fans closure.
