Plot Overview
On his way back to Porter, Hoby stops off in the small town of Talpa, where a charlatan has everyone convinced that a comet will hit and destroy the town at midnight unless they buy special 'protective' parasols...and even level-headed citizens like the Sheriff and a judge are falling for the crook's pitch.
