Plot Overview
Monica joins a TV station to assist reporter Debra Willis. After childhood pressures from her strict mother, Debra is extremely dedicated to her work and pushes herself to the limit to be perfect in what she does. This puts her relationship with her boyfriend on the rocks and causes her to hit rock bottom after she hits a high school boy with her car while on her way to work. She flees the scene for fear of retribution and, while the consequences have a negative bearing on her, Monica steps in in hopes of helping Debra reexamine her life for the better.
