Total Recall 2070 follows a human-android cop duo in the brave new world of the mid-21st century. Despite the title, the series is not based on the movie Total Recall. It is actually derived from two works of author Philip K. Dick: the short story We Can Remember It for You Wholesale (which the movie Total Recall was based on) and the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (which the movie Blade Runner was based on).
