Rodney is a character on Total Drama Island. He is voiced by Ian Ronningen.

Basic Information

Rodney is a member of Team Kinosewak on Total Drama: Pahkitew Island, the second half of the fifth season of TDI. He makes his first appearance as a member of Team Kinosewak in Season Five of the show.

Rodney's appearance is fair pale skin, orange hair, freckles, and a cleft chin. He wears navy blue overalls with yellow buckles, a front pocket, side pockets, and blue edges on the bottom. Under his overalls is a white shirt with grey edges. He also wears orange sneakers with white on them.

Rodney is first seen in the first episode sitting next to Shawn, who is obsessed with his brains. After Chris destroys the zeppelin's engine, he is seen falling with Beardo, Leonard, Amy, Ella, Sugar, Topher, Shawn, and Chef Hatchet. He then opens his pack, and a parachute opens makes him excited. He is then seen landing safely on the ground with Scarlett, Ella, and Topher. He is placed on Team Kinosewak, short for the Floating Salmon. During the challenge, Jasmine grabs him by the suspenders of his overalls and his cheeks get rosy, which makes him fall in love with her. She then tells him to gather shelter with Amy and Samey. Amy then grabs him by the ear calling him 'mumbles'. He then pushes them in a wheelbarrow. His team finishes the treehouse, causing them to win the challenge.

Rodney is first seen in the second episode standing with the contestants when Chris explains the challenge. When he talks, Amy punches his stomach to get him to stop talking. She tells that she and Samey should partner up. Then Rodney's cheeks get blushy which makes him fall in love with her. At the challenge, he is partners with Sky. He carries the pig which makes him slip on a greasy slope. He suddenly loses his footing, and tumbles and hits his 'biscuits'. When his team wins again, he breaks up with Jasmine.

Rodney is first seen in the third episode at breakfast with his team. He then falls in love with Jasmine after she gives him berries. In the confessional, his cheeks get blushy over the reaction of Jasmine. At the challenge, he approaches Sugar and he is about to throw a balloon at her. Suddenly a snake chases him. He then surprisingly puts his hands to his chest, which Amy has the voice of an angel. He eventually attempts to break up with her. With Rodney sobbing, Dave throws a balloon at him, causing him to be covered in pink jelly.

Rodney is first seen in the fourth episode when Scarlett warns him from stepping in raccoon feces, which makes him fall in love with her. He also falls in love with Samey when she offers him berries. At the challenge, he doesn't want to answer a truth question. When he is electrocuted, Chris says "Liar, liar, Rodney's on fire!". He is then selected once again, but he doesn't want to tell any truth questions. He is excited and starts mocking Clucky, telling her he eats six eggs a day, rubbing his tummy. Ella is selected for the tie breaker. Rodney flexes his muscles, saying, "Bring on the scares!". His fingers are too big to open the bag, which Clucky electrocutes him and his team, which causes them to lose. In the Cannon of Shame, Rodney imitates the sound of a chicken.
