Ascari KZ1

Richard Hammond reviews the Ascari KZ1, a 235,000 GBP (about 443,800 USD) super car, on the Top Gear test track. 0-100 mph in about 8.08 seconds with a top speed of 200 mph. 500 bhp is produced from a retuned 8 litre V8 from a BMW M5. Body and chassis made from carbon fiber making it incredibly light. But Hammond says it's "too sensible."

The Stig takes the Ascari KZ1 around the test track in 1.20.7.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage, BMW M6, Porsche 911 Carrera S

Jeremy Clarkson reviews the 80,000 GBP (about 151,100 USD) "baby" Aston Martin V8 Vantage in a place where there are no speed limits — the Island of Man. 4.3 litre V8 producing 380 bhp, pushing the car 0-60 in under 5 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph. Hammond reviews the 80,000 GBP (about 151,100 USD) BMW M6. 501 bhp pushing the car 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, but Hammond has trouble wrangling with its onboard computer system. James May reviews the 65,000 GBP (about 122,800 USD) Porsche 911 Carrera S, making it the cheapest of the three cars.

The group discusses which of the three is the best sports coupé. James and Hammond agree on the Porsche 911 Carrera S, but Clarkson is partial to the BMW M6.

Star in a Reasonably Priced Car

This week's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is Trevor Eve, a British film and television actor. Trevor Eve races the Suzuki Liana around the test track in 1.48.0. But on one of his laps, the Liana's front right wheel comes off.
