Plot Overview

Opening Monologue

Everybody has dreams, goals and aspirations. With them, Columbus discovered America. Madame Curie discovered radium, Galileo... he did stuff. And I could have been one of those dreamers. Oh, way, no I couldn't. I was raised by the dream stomper.

At one point my dream was that Dad would let me have a dream. I wanted to build the hella-bitchinous, mega-coolinous, super-flowinous hot rods on the planet. I was 17, I talked like that.

Ever do something better than you thought you could? Top's chopped perfectly. It can get no tougher or sexier. It's brilliant. Perfect. Timeless. And no one's ever gonna build it like I did. It's got everything in it, a piece of my soul. Now I'm going to trade it for money. Who knows how to dream, huh?

The Show

Team Titus finishes their first hot rod after starting Titus High Performance just in time to sell their creation to Doug, an internet geek who made millions on the dot com craze. He shows up to buy the hot rod. Just when he's about to write the check, he tells them to put a big wing put on the roof of his '32 Ford Coupe. Titus, however, doesn't want to violate his integrity by destroying his creation.

Determined to stick with his integrity, Titus begins to take the car apart when it falls on him, pinning him beneath it. Tommy and Dave call Ken, who convinces them to put the wing on the car while Titus is trapped. After successfully making the car look terrible, they release Titus from his car prison and he argues with Tommy over whether or not they'll be selling out if they do collision work or sell a product that they aren't happy with.

Ultimately, Titus sells Doug the car with the wing on it, even when Tommy stands up for their business.
