This American Life (2007—) is a documentary series airing on Showtime based on the popular radio program of the same name. Like the radio version, each episode is hosted by creator Ira Glass and is composited of several first-person narratives that are connected by a common theme. The series is contracted for 30 episodes over the course of four years, likely broken up into five seasons.
