Thea is a sitcom that aired on ABC.Thea Vidale stars as Thea Turrell, a widowed mother of four who works in a Houston supermarketby day and runs a one-chair beauty salon on the corner of her porch in the evenings. Vidale was nominated for a People's Choice Award as Favorite Female In A New Series for her portrayal of the no-nonsense Thea. The series was cancelled shortly after only one season due to low ratings on the ABC network.
