Plot Overview
A teenage girl comes to the NLO office at night, claiming that she needs a place to stay and that her mother and stepfather are unfit, and Aaron arranges for her to spend the night at his friend's place. Barrett reminds Aaron that his actions put both him and the NLO in jeopardy, and eventually, her stepfather accuses Aaron of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Barrett assigns Pat to lead the girl's defense, and she and Aaron attempt to prove the girl's claims that the mother is an alcoholic and the stepfather is abusive and, quite possibly, helping himself to money that the girl's late father gave to her in a trust fund.
