Plot Overview
Duke is a 2-year old Canadian gander who falls in love with Duchess, a 2-year old goose. Unfortunately, Duchess is part of a flock living at a Minnesota trout farm and her wings have been clipped, preventing her from joining Duke on his migration to Canada. The wild gander decides to stay with Duchess, and since geese usually mate for life, the 2 look for a nesting site. Although Duchess is land bound, Duke still ventures our for occasional flights around the area, and it's during one of these trips that disaster befalls him.
