Plot Overview
With Alexandria's walls failing, Aaron, Jerry, Carol, and Lydia return to the remains of Hilltop for supplies and encounter an old enemy.
Eugene's group take in the Commonwealth while Maggie and Negan reach their destination, but disagree on their next step.

Happenings
- One of Alexandria's walls falls. Hilltop is scavenged for tools.
- It's revealed that some Whisperers are still alive. However, according to the one who speaks, they pose no threat and just trying to survive.
- The Whisperer reveals that he saw Connie escape the cave and where he last saw her.
- Maggie and Negan find the supplies, but are alone. After waiting, they are joined by Elijah and Gabriel. Daryl and Frost are the only ones unaccounted and so they decide to stay and wait.
- Wanting to use the radio to contact Alexandria and not wanting to go through the red tape, Eugene uses Stephanie's help to get access. Rosita tells him that the war with the Whisperers is finished, but the connection breaks up as she begins to apprise him of their current situation.
- Eugene and Stephanie are arrested for using the radio along with Ezekiel and Princess. After being separated from Stephanie and facing banishment, a man named Lance Hornsby intervenes, but Stephanie warns that even if they can be spared banishment, they will still have to be punished.
