The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat is a revival of the classic cartoon star Felix the Cat. The animated comedy aired Saturday mornings on CBS.

Felix, last seen in animation in 1960, was revived the previous season for CBS's Saturday morning bumpers. This new series is designed quite retro, with everything designed and animated as if it were in the 20s and 30s. The show was originally to have been titled The New Adventures of Felix the Cat. It originally featured new supporting characters and surreal situations until Don Oriolo (current owner of the Felix franchise) ordered it to come into line with the 1959 series, much to the chagrin of Film Roman staffers. As such, Poindexter and the Master Cylinder made appearances.
