The TV IV:Proposals/Movie Tome
Movie Tome is still up. Many of you probably know this as I have known for quite some time. But, is Movie Tome owned by CNET as well?--Sportman 16:41, 10 December 2006 (EST)
The reason I asked is because currently Movie Tom still lists www.tv.comas its sister site. If they are not owned by CNET, couldn't TV IV persuade the owners to 1) List TV IV as its sister site,2)Allow infromation from there to be used here, and 3)Movie Tome be to TV IV as Movie Tome was to TV Tome.--Sportman 16:20, 14 December 2006 (EST)
Is anybody there? No one has has commented on this page and (by anyone)commented on comments on other pages, for that matter. What's up?--Sportman 14:38, 17 December 2006 (EST)
- I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. If Movie Tome was a part of TV Tome's assets, then they were likely also purchased by CNET. But, even if they weren't, this isn't a movie wiki. I don't see how any information Movie Tome might have would be of any use to the efforts of this website. If the idea is to expand into movies, then no, that's not going to happen because that would spread our efforts far too thin. If the idea is to become affiliated with Movie Tome, then that still probably won't happen because we have nothing to do with movies. --IndieRockLance 16:02, 17 December 2006 (EST)
I am pretty sure Movie Tome wasn't bought by CNET because nothing at all has changed on the site. They might be just neglecting it though. Anyway, just like TV Tome changed in into TV.com couldn't Movie Tome be turned into a Wiki? --Sportman 17:23, 26 December 2006 (EST)
