The Skatebirds was a children's variety series airing on CBS.

The Skatebirds were Satchel (a pelican), Knock-Knock (a woodpecker) and Scooter (a penguin), three live-action costumed birds who loved to rollerskate. Their sketches revolved around the nasty Scat Cat trying to get the best of them.

The hour-long show featured The Robonic Stooges, starring the Three Stooges as inept superhero robots; Mystery Island, a serialized adventure; Wonder Wheels, starring a high schooler on a clunker of a motorcycle that secretly turns into a crimefighting machine; and Woofer and Wimper: Dog Detectives, which was edited episodes from the previous season's Clue Club.

At midseason, the show was pared down to a half-hour, retaining Mystery Island and Wonder Wheels, while The Robonic Stooges was split off into a separate half-hour, took Woofer and Wimper with it and was billed on-screen and in TV listings as The Three Robonic Stooges.
