The Sixth Sense is a mystery drama that aired on ABC. It is about a college professor who investigates paranormal phenomena. The 1971 ABC Movie of the Week Sweet, Sweet Rachel is sometimes credited as the pilot of this series, but the cast and concept were reworked in between that initial TV movie and the series debut. Later, episodes of The Sixth Sense were re-edited into episodes of Night Gallery when the latter was sold into syndication.
