Plot Overview

Lem can't take it anymore and makes a deal to turn himself in. Fearing Antwon Mitchell's reprisal, Vic makes a deal with him to keep Lem safe.

While Claudette learns the department knows about her lupus, Dutch works on another man injured following a rat trap attack.

Happenings

  • Vic makes a deal to help Kern Little and his second as they a P.D. warehouse for some of the seized assets. Unknown to the Vic, Ronnie, and Shane, this involves killing Kern. Afterwards, they found the safe they stole was empty. This combined with Kavanagh initiated a full-scale DOC investigation that will make Antwon's life miserable negates the deal.
  • With the deal brokered, the Chief gives Kavanaugh 48 hours to tie up loose ends and takes the captain office away from him.

Characters

  • Julien is confronted with Art Gadwah of the Los Angeles Gay Men's Initiative. After finding the man planting the rat traps who believes he's doing God's work, Julien has him alone in the interrogation room and accuses him of being gay.
  • The department learns Claudette has lupus. She immediately believes Dutch told, but later finds it was discovered following her fall. Despite admitting her mistake, he understands that she doesn't trust him.
  • After finding she's medically fit for duty, Chief Johnson appoints Claudette as captain.
  • With Lem's safety no longer guaranteed in prison, Vic has Lem go on the run until they make contacts to get him into Mexico.
  • Danny goes into labour.
