The Secret Service is a children's animated sci-fi program that aired on ITV. This was another Supermarionation show from the world of Gerry Anderson. This series documented the missions of BISHOP—British Intelligence Service Headquarters Operation Priest. Father Unwin is a BISHOP agent using his priesthood as a cover. He lives with Mathew Harding, another BISHOP agent who is Unwin's gardener as a cover. When Mathew goes on a mission he is shrunk to a size of two feet, using a gadget called The Minimiser. The Minimiser is concealed in Unwin's Bible. After Mathew is shrunk he goes inside a special suitcase and is taken to the mission by Father Unwin. Because of his size Mathew is able to get at places unattainable by normal agents.
