Plot Overview

Ryker takes a protective interest in a young boy who's left temporarily orphaned when his father is busted for burglary. The kid at first resents the Lieutenant, but soon grows closer to the veteran cop, which angers the father. The man's cohorts spring him while he's being transported to the courthouse. All they really care about is getting their share of the money, which the man insists he's got safely stowed away, but before he does anything else, he wants to 'smoke' Ryker for driving a wedge between him and his son.
