Plot Overview
Determined to get their own back at Lucas McCain, brothers Charv and Kelly Banner contact a marriage bureau in St. Louis and arrange for them to send Lucas a prospective bride. When Mary Woodson steps off the coach in North Fork, word spreads quickly that Lucas is to be married. Everyone is surprised, not the least of whom are Mark, Micah and Millie who can't quite believe it. Neither can Lucas for that matter. For the Banners it's all a big joke but for Mary Woodson, who spent her last dime to get to North Fork, it may mean poverty or worse.
