The Show

  • This was the pilot movie for a planned, but unproduced, TV series of the same name, with Robert Foxworth and Mike Farrell slated to reprise their roles from the movie. An initial order of 13 episodes was planned for production to debut on NBC in the fall of 1974, but the project was shelved after series creator Gene Roddenberry walked away from it following a conflict with NBC and Universal Television over the show's content
