In the summer of 1986, CBS ran a weekly series of primetime telecasts of its daytime hit The Price Is Right, going up against NBC's hit sitcom The Cosby Show. Six shows were made and broadcast, with the finale airing twenty-three years to the day that the ABC nighttime show (original series) started.
Gameplay was exactly the same as its daytime counterpart, only with higher ticketed prizes.
