From The TV IV

The Oblongs is a cartoon based on the book Creepy Susie & 13 Other Tragic Tales for Troubled Children by Angus Oblong. It aired originally on The WB in the fall of 2001. It follows the life of a family that lives in "The Valley", which is filled with toxic and other forms of waste, which has caused the entire family to be physically deformed.

The WB cancelled the show after airing eight episodes. The remaining five episodes were aired by Adult Swim in the Fall of 2002.
