Taylor asks Ryan to help out by signing a document that would enable her to divorce her husband, but Ryan initially refuses, opting to keep his head down and not get involved. Later, Sandy notices that Ryan is still mourning the loss of Marissa and tells him that helping people in trouble is party of who he is, and that he'd hate to see that change. At the end of the episode, Ryan changes his mind and goes to help Taylor.

• Grey's Anatomy: Kaitlin asks Julie how Dr. Roberts is doing in his new job at Seattle Grace (the hospital featured in the television series Grey's Anatomy) and whether he's still being bossed around by the "short, bossy woman", which is a reference to Dr. Miranda Bailey, a character in that show.
