Allusions and References
- The Last Waltz: The episode title is presumably a reference to The Band's final concert, which was recorded and turned into a documentary directed by Martin Scorsese. The film is considered to be one of the greatest concert films of all time and is one of the few to be given the Criterion DVD treatment. Furthermore, in the episode the band Youth Group covers Forever Young, a song from the concert which the Band performed with Bob Dylan.
