The New Adventures of Gilligan is an animated comedy that aired on ABC.

Distilled from the iconic 60s sitcom Gilligan's Island, the castaways of the S.S. Minnow (presumably named for Newton R. Minnow, FCC chairman who called television a "vast wasteland") are still co-existing on the deserted island while dealing with pro-social issues.

The original cast members except for Tina Louise and Dawn Wells reprise their characters in voice form. In the 1982 follow-up, Gilligan's Planet, Dawn Wells would return to voice Mary Ann.
