Plot Overview
A bartender tells Farrell that a woman on Death Row for killing her rich husband is innocent, prompting the writer to pay her a visit and get her side of the story. Convinced that she inadvertently shot her husband thinking him to be a prowler, Farrell and his assistant Joe do some digging and come to suspect a possible conspiracy between three of the prosecution's key witnesses.
