Plot Overview
Jeff Dillon wrote a piece praising the mayor of Prescott City, the Honorable Conway Walker, but now finds himself having to defend the Mayor against corruption charges. Making matters worse: the city board member who leveled the charges is found dead, a suspected suicide, and the evidence against the Mayor has disappeared. Dillon discovers that the answer lies in Walker's background as a lawyer, when he defended a shady businessman who turns out to play a major role in the conspiracy.
