Plot Overview
While doing a story on overnight star Lincoln Bridges, Peggy is kidnapped by a gang who mistake her for Bridges' sister. Andy, Howard's assistant, takes charge in the effort to get her back, with Howard offering the ransom money as well as arranging for the FBI's involvement. Andy discovers that Bridges has been giving a large chunk of his earnings to the Syndicate to pay off his father's gambling debts and wonders if the Mob had any involvement in the kidnapping.
