|On January 4, 2015, I will be shutting down the server that hosts The TV IV website. It has been a very long time since I've been able to put any decent amount of time into the site, and ad revenue is plummeting. I think it is time to shut it down or hand it off to someone who can keep it going properly. If you are interested in taking over the site's code and data, contact administrators at tviv.org. --CygnusTMtalk|
The Monastery (USA)
| This article about a program needs to be expanded with more information.|
Please help out by editing it.
The Monastery is a reality show where ten participants from diverse backgrounds will be cloistered at religious institutions - five men at the Benedictine Monastery of Christ in the Desert and five women at the Our Lady of the Mississippi Abbey. It is the American version of The Monastery, a program that aired on BBC Two in 2005.
The participants will not be asked to participate in any challenges, thus it is not a game show. Instead, the conflict on the show is intended to arise from the participants' unfamiliarity with monastic life, and their differing belief systems. The participants include an aspiring Episcopalian minister and two atheists.
