Plot Overview
Julie takes the retarded boy she's aiding to a city park, but the outing takes a grim turn when the boy bumps into a mysterious man during a game of hide-and-seek, causing him to drop a gun he was carrying. The boy picks up the gun and points it at Julie, accidentally shooting her. Greer, Pete and Linc search for the boy, thinking him a danger to himself and others, while the man he bumped into is also after him--he thinks the boy can connect him to a murder.
Notes
Harlan Warde's name is misspelled in the end credits as 'Harlan Wade'.
This episode was 'tweaked' by the writer, Rick Husky, and turned into a Charlie's Angels episode, "To Kill an Angel", a few years later. Husky didn't even bother to change some of the character names--Dr. Stafford is a character in both, 'Frank Evans' is the alias that the hit man gives Julie (Kelly in the Charlie's Angels episode), Gillian becomes Gail, and Kathy becomes Cathy.
