The Mighty Hercules was a Canadian-produced syndicated animated adventure series.

Hercules was the hero of Greek mythology who was assigned a series of tasks to prove his worthiness. In this animated series, he bests an opponent in a series of athletic events and is awarded a ring from King Zeus, his father. The ring endows Hercules with the strength of ten men and he calls upon the ring when he needs to.

Assisting Hercules is the centaur Newton, the peasant Timon, Prince Dorian, and a girl, Helena. Some of the villains include Daedalus (who in Greek mythology created a labyrinth in which Hercules had to make his way through and encountered a minotaur), the Mask Of Vulcan, and sorceress Wilamene.

In the first few cartoons, many voices were different. Hercules' voice listed below comprises the bulk of the cartoons. Jack Mercer had voiced Newton and Daedalus in those first films.

The Mighty Hercules was produced by Adventure Cartoons for Television in association with Trans-Lux. DreamWorks Classics is the show's distributor.
