Plot Overview
Ever since Lou and Edie broke up, Mary has willingly helped Lou with many of his domestic duties, or find professionals to do said domestic duties. She doesn't really even mind that he shows up every night for dinner unannounced, which has put a crimp on her social life since she wouldn't be able to stand the thought of him knocking at her door without an answer. However, Mary thinks he's taking her willingness one step too far when he asks her to spy on Edie and report back to him. She finally gives in when she thinks it might help get them back together, which in turn means that Mary could return to her own normal life. Despite Ted's own meddling in Lou and Edie's affairs, Mary has some promising news to report back to Lou. Lou will find out how promising it is when he sees Edie himself.
