Plot Overview
Investigating the murder of his friend and former Commanding Officer, whose body was found in a steamer trunk, Barrett discovers that the trunk was part of a group of luggage belonging to a theater group. Visiting the group, he discovers a troubled production, a mercurial leading lady, a blackmailing insurance investigator and a cache of stolen jewelry. He wonders if there's more to the picture when a second body, that of the insurance investigator, also turns up in a trunk.
