From The TV IV

The Librarian is a series of TV movies that air on TNT about a New York librarian, Flynn Carsen played by Noah Wyle, who discovers secrets from his family's past that lead him on a series of fantastical adventures in search of legendary artifacts and locations. The movies are somewhat parodies of Indiana Jones and similar adventure movies but are still dramatic in style. Three movies have been produced and aired and the third was advertised as the librarian's final adventure. This was likely because TNT was only contracted for three movies. Noah Wyle and the producers have expressed a desire to make more movies possibly even to release the next one in theaters.
