The Lawrence Welk Show was a musical variety show that aired on ABC from 1955 to 1971. Prior to being picked up nationally, Lawrence Welk had his show on the local Los Angeles station KTLA-TV. After being dropped by ABC, Welk sold his show through syndication until 1982.
