Kidsongs started out as a series of home videos aimed for children under the age of 10 before going out as a syndicated TV show which ran from 1987-1989 and then on the Disney Channel for 26 weeks in 1992. This article is about the series that run on American Public Television. In 1994, PBS brought the Kidsongs series back to TV with a children's educational show entitled The Kidsongs Television Show. The series featured a whole new cast and focused on kids running a television studio. The original music videos were among the videos the Kidsongs Kids put into their show. The show lasted for 3 seasons and their programs are still available online, on video and DVD.
