The Jake Effect is a single-camera comedy that was intended to be a 2003 mid-season replacement program on NBC. However, the show was cancelled before it aired.

Bravo's new website BrilliantButCancelled.com will have all seven episodes available for viewing when it launches on May 23, 2006. Six of the seven episodes aired on Bravo on May 25, 2006 beginning at 8PM.
