Episode Overview

  • Teeing Off: The opening monologue deals with how disconnected people have become now that so many companies are removing the human element from the point of sale in convenience stores and airports. He talks about people who feel "safer" because they're talking to a human, even though the person is likely to make more mistakes than the machine. He would like to decry this trend, but the truth is that he can't. He'd rather deal with a machine than someone who doesn't know what they're talking about because they hate their job.
  • Kevin Smith Interview: Henry sits down with Kevin Smith, writer and director of movies like Clerks, Chasing Amy and Dogma. The two talk about his new movie, Clerks 2, fighting with the MPAA and the genesis behind the creation of a Clerks sequel. The two also share stories about Jason Mewes and his intense drug problems.
  • Drawing Conclusions - My Gay Neighbors: A clip of Henry speaking in front of an audience about his gay neighbors is played an animated to suit what he's explaining. He talks, in particular, about how they're constantly having loud sex that he can hear through his wall. In response, he plays the Mob Rules album by Black Sabbath to try to "blow the roof off the place."
  • Rollins Reconsiders: Henry takes another look at conspiracy theories about President George W. Bush being in a death cult which is destined to destroy us all. He decides that as long as the theory has a tiny bit of truth to it, he'll believe that either the Jesuits or the military industrial complex are behind it.
  • Dance Like a Monkey: New York Dolls song.

Notes

Music

  • Dance Like a Monkey, performed by New York Dolls: The New York Dolls perform "Dance Like a Monkey" off their album, One Day It Will Please Us to Remember Even This. The New York Dolls are arguably one of the founders of what would become the punk and glam movements, along with Iggy Pop and other bands.

Trivia
