Plot Overview

After discovering Richard Moll's beach house flooded upon returning from their day out, Beverly Ann and the girls call a contractor to get an estimate on the repair bill for the flood damage and are alarmed to learn that the bill comes to over $100,000. Moll soon returns from New York and finds his house in shambles due to the flooding, then he finds Beverly Ann, Blair, Tootie and Natalie in the house and asks what they are doing there. After the gang explains about what happened, Moll has them arrested and sent to jail on charges of trespassing, vandalism and breaking and entering. Tootie tries calling the house to get Jo to come bail the gang out, but has no luck as Jo is out with Paul.

Jo and Paul later return from their walk and meet Cindy, another old flame of Paul's and the insurance adjuster handling the flood damage claim. Soon after, Blair calls from the police station and asks Jo to come get her and the others. Paul then returns from upstairs with news that the flooding was caused by a faulty overflow drain on the hot tub, which relieves Jo of responsibility for the damage. When Paul tells Jo he wants to get back together and that he and Cindy are in the past as a couple, Jo decides against it, taking his womanizing ways into account. Later, Jo arrives at the police station to bail the gang out and bumps into Moll, who reports that the insurance covered all but $500 of the flood damage to his beach house, which Jo offers to cover as she apologizes to him for what happened. A few days later back in Peekskill, Blair, Natalie and Tootie reminisce about Jo when they are surprised by her return; Jo jokes that she decided to move back home because she did not relish the thought of living in a city where so many people are like Blair.
