The suspicious death of a race-car driver in a fiery crash may have some connection to an interstate car theft ring operating out of several states. In order to gain information, Colby poses as a driver, while Erskine poses as a well-heeled investor to get close to the driver's best friend, a fellow driver who suspects something's up and wants out..
