The Doris Day Show
Season 1: Doris Martin is a widow and mother of two young sons, Billy and Toby, who had just moved back to a rural ranch outside of San Francisco, after living in big cities for most of her adult life.
Season 2: Doris begins to commute from the ranch to San Francisco, where she worked as a secretary for a magazine, Today's World.
Season 3: Having gotten tired of the commute between her work and the ranch, Doris and her sons moved to San Francisco, where they lived in an apartment above an Italian restaurant.
Seasons 4 and 5: Doris suddenly became a swinging single career woman - minus her sons - and becomes staff writer for the magazine.
